Canadian students color for public-rail safety

On June 1, 2010, eleven students from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Manitoba were named winners in the “Train Your Brain” Coloring Contest and awarded official Operation Lifesaver backpacks.

Statistics released by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada reveal positive, declining trends in both crossing accidents and trespassing accidents since 1981. See graphic below.
