Operation Lifesaver Canada's Public-Rail Safety Week starts Monday!
Our year-round mission is to prevent train-related deaths and injuries through education and awareness of the dangers around trains and railway tracks.
For one week each year, we take to the streets in force to promote rail safety across Canada.
Public-Rail Safety Week – April 29 -May 5, 2013 – provides an opportunity for Operation Lifesaver and its partners to highlight both general rail safety and this year’s theme: A Shared Responsibility.
Everyone is responsible for rail safety. Along with our partners, we'll be sharing this message at dozens of rail safety events across Canada.
