Young railfan talks train safety with Operation Lifesaver (video)

At Operation Lifesaver our goal is to educate Canadians, young and old, on the behaviours that will keep them safe around railway property. To achieve this goal, we offer a number of resources and a website dedicated to teaching our train safety message to kids - because you're never too young to learn this lifesaving information.

Perhaps one of the most effective ways to reach a younger audience is through word-of-mouth: informed young people sharing rail safety information with their peers. With this in mind, we're pleased to bring you an interview with 12-year-old Daniel Craig, from Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Daniel is a true railfan and his knowledge of train safety information is impressive.
