When it comes to winter fun, taking the wrong track could land you in a wintery grave
Winter in Canada lasts a long time (or at least it feels that way). While the cold, snowy weather might not make for a pleasant driving experience, it does allow for a number of fun and exhilarating outdoor activities. At Operation Lifesaver we're definitely proponents of getting active and enjoying the outdoors, but only if you stay away from railway property.
Whether you're cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling or taking part in any other outdoor activity, make sure that your route doesn't take you near railway tracks.
Because nothing derails a day of winter fun like death.
