Will you get out of the way in time?

If you own a cardboard VR headset just follow these instructions. Note, if you are using an Apple phone please return to menu and click on the ‘I have an Apple phone’ link for instructions.

First, hit the play arrow in the middle of the screen of the VR film you want to watch. It will launch your phone’s YouTube app. If you do not have a YouTube app, visit your phone’s app store.



Now that you are in YouTube, look to the top right-hand side of the screen for three small vertically stacked dots. Click on those dots. A menu will offer you choices for setting your image quality. Choose the highest resolution number possible for the best image quality. Now, hit the play arrow again. A 30-second countdown will appear. You will use this time to complete the last steps.

During the countdown, look to the bottom of the screen. You will see an icon of a VR cardboard  Click it. This will prepare your phone for your VR experience by splitting the screen in two.

Next, plug the best headphones you have into your phone, and insert your phone into your cardboard headset.

Lastly, once you are wearing the headset and headphones, look around until you see the countdown logo directly in front of you. If the VR video has started, look around until you see words directly in front of you. And stay there.

Note: In addition to cardboard headsets, these VR videos can also be experienced with the HTC VIVE, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, or Google Daydream using their respective 

If you are using an Apple phone, you cannot have the VR experience using Safari.

So, here’s what you need to do.

You must have the YouTube application on your phone. If you do not have it, visit your app store and install in on your phone first.

To experience the VR film, click on the link below:

This will launch the YouTube application and load the VR experience, which will appear as an image link below the screen.

Select the VR video you would like to experience.
