Look. Listen. Live. Community Safety Partnership Program

In 2018, Operation Lifesaver partnered with HUB Surface Systems to launch the Look. Listen. Live. Community Safety Partnership Program. The program encourages municipalities to work to prevent railway crossing incidents by installing Look.Listen.Live. decals on the pavement near select crossings in their communities.

The Look. Listen. Live. Community Safety Partnership Program provides participating communities with the following benefits:
  • Look.Listen.Live. Safety Decals are supplied at no cost. Crossing locations must be approved by the railway(s), the municipality, and Operation Lifesaver.
  • A public unveiling of the decals during Rail Safety Week. If supported by the municipality, the unveiling of the decals is marked by an official launch event, with the participation of city council members and the local media.

So far, 98 municipalities from coast to coast are participating in the Look. Listen. Live. Community Safety Partnership Program and have installed rail-safety decals or signage in their communities. HUB and Operation Lifesaver will continue to reach out to additional municipalities to encourage them to engage with the program. If your community would like to participate in the program, or if you would like more information, please contact us.
