Every year, Operation Lifesaver participates in hundreds of events in communities across Canada and delivers rail safety presentations to schools, new and professional drivers, snowmobile and ATV clubs, and emergency responders, among others. Our rail safety ambassadors make this possible.
Operation Lifesaver rail safety ambassadors provide important rail safety information to Canadians of all ages. They are our voice across the country, and play key role in increasing awareness about the hazards surrounding railway property and trains.

Become a Rail Safety Ambassador
Our mission is to save lives and prevent tragic rail incidents from occurring. But we can’t do this alone. You can help us make a difference by becoming an Operation Lifesaver rail safety ambassador and spreading the rail safety message.
Becoming a rail safety ambassador is simple – just fill out the application form below. Be sure to indicate if you’re already employed in a job promoting rail safety – whether your employer is an existing partner of Operation Lifesaver or not – or if you’re signing up independently of a railway or other sponsoring organization. Please note that applicants are required to obtain a police record check, including vulnerable sector clearance.
