"Get on Board with Rail Safety" Art Contest

Show Us You Know the Rail Safety Rules for a Chance to WIN Amazing Prizes!

At Operation Lifesaver, our goal is to make sure Canadians stay safe around tracks and trains—and that includes young Canadians like you! But to stay safe, you need to know the rail safety rules.

Our “Get on Board with Rail Safety” art contest was a chance for children to show off their artistic talents and learn about rail safety at the same time.

See the Winners!

More than 122 children—from Williams Lake, B.C. to Anse-Bleue, N.B.—submitted original works of art for Operation Lifesaver’s “Get on Board with Rail Safety” art contest. Our selection committee then had the difficult task of narrowing those submissions down to a shortlist, before the public was given the final say in voting for their favourites. In total, 1,851 votes were cast to determine the big prize winners.
