Police and first responders know all too well the painful ripple effects a rail-related
incident can bring. That’s why law enforcement agencies and others to their part to
proactively reduce trespassing and crossing incidents through education and
awareness.
Join Operation Clear Track 2026: Promoting Rail Safety Across Canada
Operation Clear Track is held each year during Rail Safety Week. Police in Canada and the U.S. work together to enforce rail crossing and trespassing laws, and share rail-safety messaging through virtual or face-to-face outreach to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists across North America.
To register your department for Operation Clear Track 2026 (Tuesday, September 22, 2026), please fill out the form below. Please note: this form is for Canadian organizations only and the deadline to order pamphlets is Thursday, August 27, 2026.
Registration for ordering pamphlets is now closed.
