Rail Safety Week 2026
Every year, Operation Lifesaver Canada leads Rail Safety Week to raise awareness, inspire action, and help prevent railway crossing and trespassing incidents across Canada.
From September 21 to 27, 2026, this year’s Rail Safety Week campaign, There’s No Undo Button, reminds Canadians that around tracks and trains, the choices we make matter. We’re inviting Canadians to join the conversation using #RSW26 and help spread the rail safety message.
Throughout the week, we’ll explore a different rail safety theme each day, featuring videos and perspectives from industry experts and rail safety partners, along with practical information and resources. You can also get involved by using our Rail Safety Week social media toolkit to share rail safety messages with your own community and networks.
